Junior High School offers the Career Investigation Program. The Career
Investigation Program is designed to provide learning activities to assist
students in discovering their Career and Technology interest, determining their
occupational and educational aptitudes, and to increase the student’s knowledge
of occupational opportunities, occupational requirements and training
opportunities.

CLASS
RANKING/TOP TEN PERCENT
A
weighted system shall be utilized in determining rank in class and grade point
average for grades 9-12. Board policy EIC (Local) specifies the formula to be
utilized to determine the final GPA.
For two
school years following graduation their graduation, District graduates who
ranked in the top ten percent of their graduating class are eligible for
admission into four-year public universities and colleges in Texas. Students and
parents should contact the counselor or campus principal for further information
about how to apply and the deadline for application.
