Lady Bears Track Team in State Finals
		Congratulations to the Lady Bears Track Team. The team took 2nd place at the Regional Meet behind La Vernia. The Lady Bears qualified six of their 12 team members to go to the state finals in Austin on May 11 and 12. The State Qualifiers are: Discus: 2nd place, Sharae Robinson (sophomore) 3rd place, Ashley Woods (senior) Triple Jump: 1st place, Chandace Tryon (sophomore) 2nd place, Kei'Ara Watson, (senior) High Jump: 2nd place, Chandace Tryon (sophomore) 100 Meter Hurdles: 3er place, Chandace Tryon (sophomore) 400 Meter Run: 1st place, Auytenae Guy (junior) 2nd place, Page Morris (senior) 200 Meter Run: 2nd place, Auytenae Guy (junior) Shot Put: 1st place, Ashley Woods, (senior) Great job! Good luck in the state finals.
Results in the 19th Annual Coastal Bend Science Fair
		On April 28 and 29, the College of Science and Technology of Texas A&M Corpus Christi hold the 19th Annual Costal Bend Science Fair where several school districts participated. Mario Alviar, West Oso 5th grade student, won 2nd place award in the category Life and Health Science. Bill Vessey, KIII TV's Chief Meteorologist, presented the awards to the 5th grade winners.
