About 300 persons, students, educators, officials and
district residents filled the West Oso High School Auditorium on Thursday,
November 2, 2006 to celebrate the district accomplishments and success. The
ceremony started at 6:30 p.m. where city and county officials praised the
board for its teamwork and vision. Mr. Johnny Veselka, executive director
of the Texas Association of School Administrators, presented each member a
plaque. The high school choir and band performed during the
celebration. The high school choir performed “School Days” by Will
Cobb and Gus Edwards, and a slideshow of students and the district’s
projects played on the screen.
Board of Trustees, administraors, teachers,
students, and families deserve a round of applause for
their hard work and enduring success. |
