WEST OSO ISD PRESENTED AT THE 2008 TECA (TEXAS COMPUTER EDUCATOR'S ASSOCIATION)

 
Doug Gregory presenting at 2008 TECA SymposiumOn February 8, 2008, West Oso ISD presented at the 2008 Annual Educational Technology Research Symposium in Austin, TX.  West Oso presenters were Mr. Doug Gregory, Technology Specialist in West Oso, and Mr. Jay Martinez, West Oso Network Administrator. 

Mr. Gregory's presentation was title "Discover How to Design Great Websites with Google's Free Page Creator".  During this workshop, attendees learned how to use Google's  Page Creator free software to design, build and host websites for educational or personal use.  Follow the link to download a copy of the workshop handout.

Mr. Jay Martinez presenting at TECA SymposiumMr. Martinez's presentation was title "Kubuntu - Make Linux your Friend".  Participants learned about the easy approach to installing and running the Kubuntu Operating System (Linux) on a less than perfect personal computer.
