PEST CONTROL
INFORMATION |
The District periodically applies pesticides inside
buildings. Except in an emergency, signs will be posted 48 hours before
application. Parents who want to be notified prior to pesticide application
inside their child(ren)’s school assignment area may contact Mr. Peter Mc Nally.
PHYSICAL EXAMINATIONS
Students desiring to participate in the UIL athletic program shall submit a
statement from a physician licensed to practice in the state indicating that the
student has been examined and is physically able to participate in the athletic
program. This examination is required for the first year of middle school
competition and the first year of high school competition. In other years,
students shall complete a medical appraisal form. Students may be required to
have a physical examination based on answers to the appraisal form.
The District may provide additional screening as District and community
resources permit. Parents of students identified through any screening programs
as needing treatment or further examination shall be advised of the need and
referred to appropriate health agencies. The student’s health record shall
include a statement of the referral and any follow-up contact that may be done.
POSTERS AND MATERIALS DISTRIBUTION
Permission of the principal must be obtained before anyone can post or
distribute material or media on school bulletin boards or property.
The campus principal or the principal’s designee must first approve signs and
posters that a student wishes to display. Posters displayed without
authorization will be removed. Any student who posts printed material without
prior approval will be subject to disciplinary action.
