The West Oso Independent School District
has cancelled classes at all campuses due to inclement weather associated
with Hurricane Rita. It is important to note the following:

All classes, scheduled for Thursday,
September 22, 2005, and Friday, September 23, 2005 have been cancelled.
Classes will resume at regularly scheduled times on Monday, September 26,
2005.

The WOISD Administration Building at
5050 Rockford will be closed on Thursday, September 22, 2005, and Friday,
September 23, 2005. WOISD will resume regular business hours on Monday,
September 26, 2005

The next regularly
scheduled board meeting will be on Monday, October 3, 2005.
WOISD emergency responders are working
collaboratively with the City of Corpus Christi. They are in constant
communication regarding Hurricane Rita’s projected path and the latest
evacuation orders.
Parent/Guardians and WOISD staff members
are advised to listen to local radio and television newscasts or check the
WOISD website at www.westosoisd.esc2.net
for the latest information concerning school closures.
