As part of the district’s efforts to teach good nutritional
habits to students, a free breakfast and lunch program is made available to all
students on a daily basis. The District participates in the National School
Lunch Program and although all meals are free each student must complete a lunch
application form to participate in the program. Information can be obtained
from Mr. Ray Williams, Food Services Supervisor, at 361-806-5966 Ext . 520.
Students who bring a lunch from home may use the cafeteria, but should
not bring drinks in glass containers. A student may eat lunch at home if
the principal approves a request by the parent or
guardian. Forms
requesting permission are available in the principal’s office. Students
are expected to deposit all napkins, trays and silverware in the
appropriated areas and leave the table and floor area in a clean
condition after they have finished eating. West Oso ISD is a designated
closed campus. Closed campus means you may not leave at lunchtime.
Please contact campus principals for further information. (FDF(L))
