EMERGENCY MEDICAL TREATMENT |
If a student has a medical emergency at school or a
school-related activity when the parent cannot be reached, the school will need
to have written parental consent to obtain emergency medical treatment and
information about allergies to medications, etc. Parents shall complete an
emergency care form each year that includes a place for parental consent for
school officials to request medical treatment for the student as provided by
law. Parents shall also be asked to supply other information that could be
required in case of an emergency; parents should update this information as
often as necessary.
