The West Oso doors, below, were first opened in 1884.
In 1916, the increased enrollment demanded another school building, picture below.
The district went through another change in 1953.
On the bottom of the page is the modern high school which opened its doors in the fall of 1969. Al Smith was the first West Oso ISD Superintendent.
