West Oso Presenting at 4th Annual National Reading Conference
 

 
West Oso ISD was invited by the U.S Department of Education to present at the 4th Annual National Reading Conference. The National Reading Conference will be hosted in St Louis, Missouri and approximately 9,000 participants will be in attendance.

West Oso ISD has been asked to present on the following topic: VOCABULARY DEVELOPMENT: The Why? What? and Why? of Teaching Vocabulary. West Oso ISD staff that will be presenting is: Dr. Crawford Helms, Superintendent; Dr. Mary Jane Garza, Assistant Superintendent and Reading First Director; Ms. Elma Driver, West Oso Elementary Reading First Reading Coach; Ms. Elizabeth Garcia, John F. Kennedy Reading First Reading Coach; Ms. Rose Longoria, 1st Grade Reading Teacher and Ms. Consuelo Dreier, 3rd Grade Reading Teacher.

West Oso ISD will be presented twice during the 4th Annual National Reading Conference.
