2008-2009 SCHOOL CALENDAR
On March 24, the West Oso ISD Board of Trustees approved 2008-2009 School Calendar.  Students will begin instruction on August 25, 2008.  ( 2008-2009 School Calendar | 2008-2009 Calendar)

  MONDAY, MAY 26 IS A MAKE UP DATE FOR STUDENTS
Classes will be in session on Monday, May 26, 2008.  The District will use Memorial Day as a make up date for students.  Attendance is important, and this date will be an exam date for many students.  For further information contact your school administration.

  WEST OSO ALUMNI REUNION

  SCHOLARSHIPS FOR Seniors

 NEW GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS: 4x4
Beginning with the 2007-08 school year, freshman students entering high school are required to take four years of math and four years of science. (more)

  DEIC Meetings
The DEIC (District Educational Improvement Council) meeting is scheduled on Wednesday, April 16,  2008 at West Oso Elementary Multi purpose Room from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. (Agenda for April 19)

  BOARD OF TRUSTEE TERM CHANGES AND BIENNIAL ELECTIONS
The District requested an opinion from the Secretary of State which confirmed that West Oso ISD could only hold elections in November of even numbered years.  According with this, the District will have only one viable election date every two years in November. (more )
